Onsite Coaching |
"Many
people have gotten the message that 90 percent of illness and poor
health can be treated or reversed through daily behavior choices that
each of us has under our control, such as food, exercise, drinking, and
smoking./... But most are overwhelmed by the prospect of making
the shift to a healthier way of eating in the midst of already
overburdened lives. It's no wonder we are still choosing to spend
billions annually on high-priced drugs, high tech surgical procedures,
and out-of-control health insurance premiums." from Take
Two Apples And Call Me In The Morning, by Judy Stone, MSW, CN
Support for the process of
change
Our coaching program teaches
people how their food choices affect mental and physical health, but
more critically, we guide them through the process of translating
knowledge into action. There is no greater motivator for change than
experiencing the connection between how one chooses to eat and how one
feels. We help provide that experience.
Focus on health building and weight
loss follows
The rage right now is to focus
on weight loss. While excess weight is a problem, it is only one symptom
of underlying imbalance--the same imbalance that results in
hypertension, high blood lipids, diabetes, gastric reflux, irritable
bowel syndrome, and many other problems for which costly medication is
prescribed. We focus on helping individuals attain optimal
emotional and physical health, reducing the need for costly medication
and multiple doctor visits. Weight loss is the only side effect of our
prescription!
We come to you
We increase the likelihood of success by providing our services
onsite, making it more convenient for employees to receive help. We can
offer services on either a private pay or contractual basis.
